✅ Spot fire hazards — unplug unused appliances and keep flammables away from heat.
🚪 Know your escape routes — use stairs, not elevators.
🧰 Have an emergency kit ready with essentials like a flashlight, mask, and water.
💨 Stay low if there’s smoke and cover your mouth with a damp cloth.
👨🚒 Trust the firefighters and follow their instructions!

Join us for our Halloween Trunk ‘N Treat & Trunk Decoration Contest on October 17th from 7:00–8:30 PM in the Lake Mathews parking lot!
🚗 Vehicle Sign-ups: Decorate your trunk and hand out candy — space is limited!
🍬 Candy Donations: We’re accepting candy donations until 10/17 (please no candy with nuts).
🧛♀️ Trunk-or-Treaters RSVP: Don’t forget to check in at 7PM and fill out the participant waiver.
🧡 Volunteers: Scan the QR code on the flyer to help make this event a treat for all!

Here’s how the Penny Wars will play out:
✨ Pennies = The Light Side ✨
Drop pennies into your OWN class’s jar to earn points and strengthen your Jedi squadron.
🌑 Silver Coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) = The Dark Side’s Weapon 🌑
Place these in OTHER classes’ jars — they SUBTRACT points! Sneaky sabotage, this is. 😏
💵 Dollar Bills = Jedi Power Boosts 💵
Add dollars to your OWN class’s jar to gain BIG points and push your squadron toward victory!
The 6th Grade, strong in the Dark Side, will be plotting sabotage across the galaxy. Can the younger Padawans unite to overcome their power? Or will the Dark Side rise to claim victory? 🏆
Only one class will emerge as Penny Wars Champion of Lake Mathews Elementary — winning eternal bragging rights AND a special galactic prize. 🎉
